What would it taste like to bring together two forests from two different countries?
One grows high in the mountains of Guatemala. The other surrounds our farm in Onaway, Michigan.
The coffee in this bundle comes from the mountain forests where our friend Daniela’s family grows coffee in Guatemala. Volcanic soil, tropical rains, and high elevations help give the beans their distinctive flavor.
Daniela and her husband, Ivan, eventually moved to Onaway to open a business and build a new life here—but they brought a piece of her family’s home with them through their coffee.
Just beyond their new home is another kind of forest.
At Bonz Beach Farms, we collect sap from more than 4,400 maple trees and taps throughout our Northern Michigan sugarbush. The sap flows clear from the trees before we carefully concentrate it into rich, pure Michigan maple syrup.
It takes approximately five gallons of maple sap to produce the single pint included in this bundle.
Put a splash of that syrup into a cup of Daniela’s family’s coffee, and you aren’t simply sweetening your morning.

ULEW Medium Roast
A smooth, balanced roast with notes of citrus fruit, vanilla, and caramel. Approachable and versatile, it’s an ideal everyday coffee with just the right balance of brightness and richness.
K’AK’ Dark Roast
A bold, full-flavored roast with notes of caramelized sugar, cacao, and wood. Its deeper roasted character makes it especially well suited for espresso and for coffee drinkers who prefer a stronger cup.
Each variety is made with 100% washed Arabica coffee, produced and roasted in Guatemala. Guatemala’s high elevations, volcanic soils, and diverse tropical microclimates help produce coffee with exceptional flavor and natural complexity.
Pure Michigan Maple Syrup
Our maple syrup begins as 100% pure maple sap collected from our Northern Michigan sugarbush. It is carefully finished on our farm without corn syrup, preservatives, artificial flavoring, or unnecessary ingredients.
Use it to sweeten your coffee naturally, pour it over breakfast, or add genuine maple flavor to baking, sauces, glazes, and marinades.
