What ingredients are used in your maple syrup?

Our maple syrup is made from a single ingredient: pure maple sap collected from our own sugar maple trees in northern Michigan.

What is the difference between maple syrup and maple sugar?

Maple syrup is concentrated sap finished to a liquid state, while maple sugar is made by further reducing maple syrup until it crystallizes into a granulated sugar.

Do your products contain any additives or preservatives?

No. Our maple products contain no additives, preservatives, artificial flavors, or coloring—just maple.

Why does maple syrup sometimes crystallize?

Crystallization is a natural process caused by sugar concentration and temperature changes. It does not affect quality and can be reversed by gently warming the syrup.

How should maple syrup be stored?

Unopened maple syrup can be stored at room temperature. After opening, it should be refrigerated to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.

Does maple syrup expire?

Pure maple syrup does not technically expire, but for best quality and flavor, we recommend using it within a reasonable time and storing it properly after opening.

What grades of maple syrup do you produce?

We produce Grade A maple syrup, which includes different color and flavor profiles depending on the time of the season.

Are your products suitable for people with food allergies?

Our maple products are free from common allergens like dairy, gluten, and nuts, but they are produced in a facility that may handle other food items.

Where is Bonz Beach Farms located?

Bonz Beach Farms is located in Onaway, Michigan, in the heart of northern Michigan’s maple-producing region.

What does “small-batch” mean at your farm?

Small-batch means we produce maple syrup in limited quantities, closely monitoring each boil to ensure consistency, quality, and flavor.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Cash, Check, Paypal, Debit Card, all major Credit Cards, along with Venmo, CashApp, and Zelle.

Ordering process is simply 4 quick steps:

  1. Select your favorite items and add them to cart
  2. Enter your billing and shipping information
  3. Select shipping method
  4. Checkout

What should I do if I made a mistake on my order?

How do I apply a coupon code?

Enter your coupon code inside you shopping cart! Coupon code section lies between your listed items and checkout! You can also enter your coupon code during checkout when entering your payment information! (Please note that you must hit apply coupon before adding payment)

How do I change my order?

Can I cancel my order?

We can only process cancellations for items that have not gone into production or have been shipped out.

Please email us at bonzbeachfarms@gmail.com with your order details we will cancel your order and provide a full refund if possible.

What’s the status of my order?

Following a successful order, please expect a confirmation email. You will also receive an update email when your order goes into production. Once your order ships, we will send a third email with your tracking information. The most recent information on your order is always available via the receipt link provided in our email correspondence. What if my order is defective or the wrong size?

What should I do in case of late or missing refunds?

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at bonzbeachfarms@gmail.com.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is automatically calculated at checkout to ensure you receive the best available rate based on your location and distance from the farm. Rates adjust dynamically depending on destination and order size.

Can I expedite my order?

We currently do not offer expedited shipping because all of our products are custom made-to-order after each purchase. We are looking into ways to expand our shipping options for you.

Can I deliver to multiple addresses?

We can ship to multiple addresses, but each shipping address must be placed as its own order. Customers may manage and save multiple addresses within a single account and check out separately for each delivery.

Do you offer delivery to PO Boxes or Military APO/FPO addresses?

Yes, we can ship to PO Boxes and Military APO/FPO addresses. We use shipping services that automatically select the best available delivery option based on destination, which may involve multiple carriers during transit.

Delivery to military addresses can take longer than standard shipments, and tracking visibility may be limited once the package enters the military mail system.

Will I be charged VAT taxes?

Items shipped internationally from the United States are sent Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). We do not collect VAT at checkout; any applicable taxes, duties, or customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient and may be charged upon delivery, depending on the destination country.

Items fulfilled from the UK or EU are subject to local regulations and include a 20% VAT, which is collected at checkout.

If you are a resident of the USA, you do not need to worry about this one.

Do you alert us once our order ships?

Yes! An email will be sent to you with the tracking information once it ships out to you!

Where do I get tracking info?

An email with tracking details will be sent to you the moment your product is shipped out! You will be able to find all your information inside your Bonz Beach Farms account.

Have not received my order yet, now what?

First, check tracking info and see if it was delivered. If it says delivered but never received please allow a few more days. Sometimes products are delivered late by DHL or scanned delivered by mistake. Then call or email us regarding the whereabouts of your order!
