Bonz Beach Farms offers guided farm tours by reservation for groups looking to experience real Michigan maple production up close. Tours are educational, hands-on, and rooted in how maple syrup is actually made—without overpromising what the season can’t deliver.

What You’ll See on a Farm Tour

Every tour includes access to the core working parts of the farm:

• Sugarhouse – where sap is processed, bottled, and canned
• Tubing lines – miles of lines that collect sap from the woods
• Sap tanks – large-scale storage used during sugaring season
• Farm market – shop Pure Michigan maple syrup and farm-made goods
• Tasting – sample real maple syrup and select products

Seasonal note:
Sugaring happens in late winter and early spring only. During the rest of the year, visitors may see bottling and canning operations, but active sap boiling is not guaranteed outside the sugaring season.

Best Time to Visit

• Year-round: Sugarhouse and farm market tours
• Summer months: Best visibility of the entire farm and tubing layout
• Winter / Early Spring: Potential to observe live sugaring (weather dependent)

• Tour start time: 11:00 AM
• Advance notice required: At least 1 week
• Reservation status: Tours are not guaranteed and must be confirmed by Bonz Beach Farms based on the farm’s operational schedule.
• A reservation is not official until you receive confirmation from us.
